Sweet lord how I’ve waited for this day… Is it possible that Mr. Friday Afternoon will be restored to his previous sarcastic radio glory? And what about those terrible picks? A thing of the past or an earmark for the future?

Earlier this week Mark made a reference to www.Hockey-Fights.com and it’s well worth checking out.

I know you superfans of the one and only Mr. Friday Afternoon were astonished to hear all the references to Joe from Belleville during last night’s presidential debate. Senator McCain first mentioned Joe who was concerned that if he should somehow become rich, he would have a tax increase. A very critical concern on so many American’s minds. I mean, if i should start making an extra $225,000 a year then I too would suddenly be saddled with new tax increases.

I heard a few sound bites on the news from Joe the Plumber and they must have been concealing his voice because it didn’t really sounds like Mr. Friday Afternoon, but clearly, it just had to be him.

Congratulations Joe!!

I can’t help myself, I actually read a blog this morning and then read the posts from the great unwashed about the new music infused format of the show.. blah blah fuckin’ blah. Shut up and listen. You know what you’re in for. You know what you tune in to hear, sit back and shut up and listen.
